Hi — I'm Kevin. I built JRNY for my own marathon training and hoped it might be useful for other runners too.

The sections below spell out specifics for anyone who wants them (or for compliance). In short: we only take what the app needs to run, we don't sell your information, and we don't follow you around the internet.
When you create an account, jrny.run collects your email address and any profile information you choose to provide.
If you connect your Strava account, jrny.run accesses your running activities and basic profile information to help plan your training.
jrny.run stores the training plans, race profiles, and other information you create in the app.
We use Plausible Analytics for aggregate traffic and feature use (no cross-site tracking). We do not send Plausible your email, Strava ID, race names, workouts, or other identifiers — see Third-party services for more.
We only use cookies your session needs — mainly to keep you logged in. No ad pixels, no cross-site trackers, no analytics cookies in the browser (usage stats come from Plausible, which is cookieless).
When you log in, we store small files in your browser so you stay signed in as you move through the app — otherwise you'd be logging in again on every page.

We use Supabase to store your account and training data securely. They follow strict privacy standards.
If you connect Strava, we access your data through their official API. You can disconnect this at any time.
We use OpenWeather to provide race day weather forecasts. No personal data is shared with them.
Plausible is built for privacy: no cookies, no tracking you across sites. We only send non-identifying events and coarse context so we can see what's used — not who you are.
We keep your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we'll remove all your personal data within 30 days.
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we'll update the date at the top and let you know if the changes are significant.
